In the second quarter of 2022, the top 5 PVP games on iOS in the Netherlands displayed diverse performance metrics in terms of weekly downloads, revenue, and active users. Here’s a detailed look at how each app fared, based on data from Sensor Tower.

Subway Surfers from Sybo Games ApS saw a notable increase in weekly revenue, peaking at approximately $9.9K in the week of May 16. Weekly downloads for the game surged mid-quarter, reaching about 38.9K in the week of May 23. Active users also climbed, starting at 185.4K at the end of March and peaking at around 566.8K by the end of May before a gradual decline to 437.8K by the end of June.

Stumble Guys, published by Scopely, Inc., experienced steady growth in weekly revenue, with a peak of approximately $9.0K in the last week of June. Downloads increased significantly towards the end of the quarter, hitting 29.2K in the final week. Active users for this game also saw a continuous rise, starting at 51.9K in late March and reaching around 235.7K by the end of June.

Roblox from Roblox Corporation had a consistent performance in terms of active users, maintaining a steady number around 250K throughout the quarter. Revenue, however, showed a downward trend from $144K at the end of March to around $83K by the end of June. Downloads remained relatively stable, fluctuating between 4.7K and 8.5K weekly.

Apex Legends Mobile, released by Electronic Arts in mid-May, had a strong start with weekly downloads peaking at 48.5K in its first week. However, downloads and active users saw a sharp decline over the following weeks, with active users dropping from 44.4K to 13.2K by the end of June. Revenue also decreased significantly from $6.6K in its launch week to around $544 by the end of the quarter.

Brawl Stars by Supercell experienced fluctuations in revenue, peaking at about $68.7K in early May before declining to around $20K towards the end of June. Downloads remained relatively low, with a peak of just over 5K in late March. Active users saw a slight decline from 131.4K at the end of March to around 117K by the end of June.
